There is no danger for the Bulgarian citizens in Iran, according to the MFA

At the moment there is no tension around the Bulgarian embassy in Tehran nor for about 30 Bulgarian women,married to Iranians, the spokesman of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dragovest Goranov said in response to euinside. He added that he had received this latest information an hour ago from the embassy. He also assured that the embassy is in constant contact with the Bulgarian citizens in Iran among which 25 crew of the "Hemus Air" airline. And regarding the accusation of the opposition (the Blue coalition and the Bulgarian Greens) that the MFA had not made any statement related to the situation in Iran, Dragovest Goranov reminded that as an EU member Bulgaria is leading a unified politics with that of the Union and all positions are being coordinated with our country. So far Brussels has issued 2 statements for the last 5 days, condemning the attempts for violent crush of the opposition protests in Iran.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the Bulgarian foreign policy is in unison to that of the EU and all that Bulgaria needs to say is being included in the positions of the EU.
