Finally the Bulgarians in Spain will have a new consulate

Adelina Marini, May 20, 2009

After long waiting the hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians in Spain will have a new consulate - in Valencia. Today is the official opening of the consulate for which Bulgarian immigrants insist for years because the embassy in Madrid is too small for the needs of the biggest Bulgarian colony in Europe. The new consulate will cover Valencia, Muricia, Castilla la Mancha and the Ballear islands. According to the Ministry of foreign affairs the consulate will work for around 40,000 Bulgarians, but these are official figures. The decision for the establishment of the new consulate has been taken by the government a year ago.

The address is Calle de Antonio Suárez, 48, Valencia
