Industrial drop in Bulgaria for February 2009

Industrial new orders in Bulgaria dropped by 11.9 % in February this year in comparison to January, the new Eurostat data show. The industrial orders in the EU27 have dropped by 1.4 % and the euro area by 0.6 %. On an annual basis the new orders in the Eurozone declined by 34.5 % in February 2009 in comparison to February 2008. In EU27 the decline is 33.3 %. Industry as a whole, excluding ships, railway & aerospace equipment, dropped by 34.1 % in the euro area and the in EU27 - by 32.2 %.
