First French visit to Bulgaria for the new government

The first member of a government of a EU member state is on a visit in Bulgaria. The state secretary for European affairs Mr. Pierre Lellouche arrived in Bulgaria yesterday and will discuss here the institutional situation, the EU response to the economic crisis, the energy security, enlargement and the neighbourhood policy. Mr. Lellouche will meet the prime minister Boyko Borisov, the foreign minister Ms. Rumyana Zheleva, the minister of defense Mr. Nikolay Mladenov and the deputy foreign ministers Mr. Marin Raykov and Mr. Krasimir Kostov.
The visit of Pierre Lellouche is part of the strategic partnership, established between Bulgaria and France in 2008.
