An euinside article is the national winner in European Parliament's Prize for journalists
euinside, July 30, 2010
An euinside article, "The EU and its neighbours or how to protect your home" is a winner at the national stage of the European Parliament's Prize for Journalism for Internet media, competing with 5 other articles. Now the toughest part comes - the article to prove best among the national winners of the 27 Member States. The result will be clear in the autumn. The other two winners, for Newspapers and Radio, are correspondingly Irina Novakova, the Brussels correspondent of the Capital weekly with her article "Theory and Practice of the European Parliament" and Rossinka Prodanova with the Bulgarian National Radio (Blagoevgrad region) for her radio edition of "What is social today".
The European Parliament's competition for journalists is taking place for a third year. An euinside journalist is a national winner for the second time. The first time, however, it was in the Radio category but better materials from other colleagues in the EU won the big prize.
The prize is being awarded to journalists, who have worked on important issues at a European level or have contributed to better understanding of EU institutions and/or EU's policies.
