Cause and Effect in European Politics and Law

Spring in Budapest

Ralitsa Kovacheva, March 24, 2011

I see Budapest for the first time. My first and irreversible impression is that the city is clean (this is what impresses a Bulgarian) and well cared about. My impression is confirmed by colleagues who have lived here for a long time, saying that this is not a momentary condition, for example because of Hungary's EU Presidency. It is simply like this - with care for the little things. Obviously it matters a lot part of which empire you were. Here is just part of the incredible views from both banks of the Danube river.
