How to surf in the centre of Munich?

As incredible it might be, although the city of Munich is not near any seaside, everyday different people surf in the city. On one of the branches of the Isar, on "Prinzregenten" Strasse that intercepts the city, a large wave is attracting all high-emotions-seekers to surf. The locals often joke that this is the only place where prohibitions don't work because, generally, going into the river and the swimming are forbidden.
